Contact less Dinning

We are still in the midst of a nationwide lockdown in an attempt to flatten the Corona virus curve. 

We do not know when the lockdown will end, and when we will be able to actually step out and enjoy a nice meal at a restaurant. Even when restaurant will be open for public there will be a huge fear so a new concept name as "Contactless Dinning" is coming up. 

The idea behind contactless dining is to avoid touching a menu card, for instance, and also reduce interactions with fellow human beings. Process will allow customers to browse the menu, place an order and make payments, all through their phones.


Solution Details

Contactless Dining minimises customer contact with anything that someone else might have touched – by eliminating the use of high-touch elements at restaurants. Imagine a full-stack tech enabled dining experience, but with the least risk to health and safety.

Contactless Dining will have the following components –

1.                 Mobile app for Digital Menu  or Contactless menu – scan a QR code on the table to explore the restaurant menu with dish and pairing recommendations
2.                 Mobile app for orders Contactless ordering – order through the app (you don’t need to talk to the waiting staff to place an order, or modify an order)

3. Contactless payment – once done, just pay the bill via the app & leave the restaurant premises

Mobile app for digital menu is for any one can download the app and can see items. Example if there are guests or family members with member any one can see the digital menu.

Mobile app for orders leads to a valid login by OTP and member’s mobile number. Once member is ready to pay, he can have the following option.
1.     Pay by payment gateway.
2.     Using credit facility
3.     Pay by his smart debit card
